September 28-29 is Commitment Weekend.  This weekend all parish families are asked to bring their Commitment Card to Mass.  During Mass, as a parish community, we offer God our gifts of time, talent and treasure.  Our goal is to be a Stewardship Parish-a community who is noticeably committed to prayer, parish ministry, and generous financial support.  All three are equally important. May God bless you as you discern how He is calling you to grow closer to Him this year.

PLEASE JOIN US! Sunday, October 6 @ 11:45am in the Parish Center.  At this important meeting, the vision for our stewardship efforts will be outlined by Shari Navarre of Catholic Stewardship.  Please join us in this opportunity to learn more about how we can deepen our faith and develop a fuller, more vibrant faith community.

Womens Society Winter Clothing Drive. Hats, gloves, coats, sweatshirts, blankets, flannel shirts, boots and socks are needed for Hesed House in both adult/children sizes. Drop off donations at the Parish Center after all masses September 28-October 13 or call Mary Stout at 815-498-3227.

Day of Recollection. Women's Society invites all women of the parish to a Day of Recollection on Tuesday, October 1st.  We will begin our time together at 9am.  Our speaker is Deacon Ron Yurcus who will present "Following In the Footsteps of St. Frances of Assisi."  Mass will be at 11am followed by lunch and an afternoon session until 2pm.  We hope you will join us.  Tickets are $10 per person.  Please RSVP to Delores Devine at 815-498-2040 or Kathleen Carr at 312-303-0869
